Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities is a coalition of approximately 100 national disability organizations working together to advocate for national public policy

Blind and Low Vision:

National Federation of the Blind improves blind people’s lives through advocacy, education, research, technology, and programs encouraging independence and self-confidence.

Cerebral Palsy:

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Pennsylvania provides both community and center-based programs and services in fifteen Central Pennsylvania counties

Pennsylvania Developmental Disability Council works to create favorable conditions for people with developmental disabilities and their families in the Commonwealth.

Mental Health:

Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania provides advocacy supports
NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) national organization providing advocacy supports
National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research working to expand the development and use of quality disability research

Mobility:

Canine Partners for Life places assistance dogs with individuals who have mobility impairments

Office of Disability Employment Policy

For employers:

The Pennsylvania Business Leadership Network (BLN) is a statewide, employer-driven program designed for business leaders to promote hiring practices that enable qualified people with disabilities to enter and succeed in the workplace.
The Independence Capital Access Network Fund (ICAN) provides grants to small employers with 100 employees or less, to make special accommodations for workers with disabilities.
Think Beyond the Label is committed to making the business case for employing people with disabilities and to raise awareness that hiring people with disabilities makes good business sense.
