FY 2000 Highlights

• Increased the content of the PA-RC website www.parac.org. Average visits per month increased from 1,000 in FY00 to 1,320 in FY 01, with a high of 2,130 in August.
• Participated in local and state-wide CareerLink (one-stops) Accessibility Advisory Committees.
• Conducted quarterly conference calls of district Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) chairs to share best practices.
• Collaborated with OVR to conduct a Planning Retreat with the OVR Board and other stakeholder groups to identiFY common concerns and develop unified strategies to address them.
• Continued participation at Team PA Workforce Investment Board, including presentation of reports at Board meetings.
• In conjunction with the National Rehabilitation Association's annual Governmental Affairs training conference, met with members of Pennsylvania's Congressional delegation about issues related to employment of persons with disabilities.
• Expanded knowledge of issues around workforce investment and employment of persons with disabilities through participation in state and national conferences.
