Committee Members
Consists of six to ten members from the Full Council who elect a Chairperson annually.
Purpose
- Old: Influence content and implementation of Governor's Disability Agenda.
- New: Increase collaboration with other groups to influence policy development and funding.
Principal Tasks
- From old purpose - Maintain and expand database of organizations and advocates.
- Review Status/progress/content of Governor's Exec. Order 8/98 regarding coordination of OVR/Education, etc. in planning for special needs students.
- Continue to expand database.
- Special attention to relationship with SILC, per Rehab Act specifications.
- Develop/implement formal communications plans with entities described in Section 105, c, 6 of Rehab Act
